Welcome!

Before you come out
Watch this with your kids — not just on your own. Most of what it covers is aimed at them.
Please watch the video before signing.
What to bring
- Bug spray — the ticks and chiggers are real
- Water — more than you think for a hot day
- Snacks — there's no shop for twenty minutes
- Sunscreen and a hat — there is very little shade
- Long pants — especially for kids heading into the brush
- Closed-toe shoes — boots if it has rained
- Swimsuit and a towel — if the pond is on your list
- A layer for the evening — it turns cool after sundown
While you're here
- No screens for the kidsNo phones, no iPads. Leave them in the car — or better still, at home.
- We have a flock of chickensIf your dog is hungry, keep them at home.
- There are cattle on the propertyThey're docile, but move slowly around them — and never get between a momma and her baby.
The last thing in the world we want is anyone getting hurt. Have a blast — but please stay safe.
